Thanks, pmaxwell. Had made several tries at restarting Firefox didn't work. But tried it again and this time Feedly came up fine. Great relief.

This problem came up on Twitter as well and a Feedly CS person posted this:

If you experience a problem logging into feedly, please restart firefox to get patch 1.2.278. Sorry for the inconvenience and good week end!

Problem is, I can't find the patch on Firefox and now, for some reason, that service isn't recognizing my email. Downward spiral.
