Here's the response from them after they moved your report to a different forum:
Hi Patricia,
"The HP Smart Web Printing program is not compatible with Flock. It only works with Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox."
Odd that it will work in the version of Firefox Flock is built upon but not in Flock itself, don't you think?

Additionally I find it difficult to imagine that even with a small support group this problem can be treated as low priority. Flickr login and integration is one of only a handful of blatantly advertised, supported functions of Flock.
One item you might wish to consider while opting to set a low priority for this problem is this simple reality of support. For every ten people who complain and attempt to help correct a problem, untold others simply shrug it off and walk away.
In other words, while the number of complaints is easily quantifiable (and a failure too easily de-prioritized based on same) the number of lost users who don't care to play along and wait, is immeasurable.

I've brought this exact issue to Evan's attention directly only my problem didn't start until I changed to windows 7 64 bit. Other than that everything is exactly as these people have apparently been saying for months now. Would have been nice to at least have been pointed to this thread. As it is I accidentally stumbled onto it after looking through this site repeatedly for exactly this issue. I was up to 2.5.2 when I installed windows 7 64 bit and somehow was not previously having log in problems with Flickr.

HP Web print Windows 7 64 bit works everywhere but FlockHP web page print utility icon appears in and works fine even in new Firefox 3.6 beta and even internet explorer 8 but can't locate icon in Flock 2.5.2. Operating system is Windows 7 64 bit. Any ideas why Flock ignores the installation? This is only one of several issues since changing to windows 7 64 bit but would like resolution on this one for starters. Especially since even HP has already provided a windows 7 specific update for the utility.
A comment on the problem "Flock 2.5.2 will not stay logged into Flickr on Windows 7 64 bit." in Flock:
That known bug isn't the same. This is no 24 hour logout. It simply logs back out and refuses to sign you back in when the people bar opens again because it doesn't store the account info. This is the release version of Win 7 64 bit not the one from a month ago when this was posted as "working on it", Flock asks if you want to remember the account then promptly doesn't store the info in the security tab. (Except for the login name somehow it remembers that without an entry in the password file). – joe2pointoh, on October 25, 2009 19:22-

A comment on the question "Is Flock Available for Windows 64 Bit Edition" in Flock:
Are you saying the Win 7 64 implementation doesn't install the 64 bit IE 8? I've been using it and admittedly did have to install flash but hadn't checked to see if it was the 64 bit version. Flash items appear to be working so maybe it's still installing the 32 bit version? – joe2pointoh, on October 24, 2009 02:17

Chris
As long as Flock works and isn't slower (many 32 bit programs tend to suffer this fate when run on a 64 bit platform) I'll be happy to wait it out. The possible advantages to doing the many things we do in Flock, using a solid 64 bit implementation are well, obvious and it's always better to be an innovator than a me too'er. <g>.</g> – joe2pointoh, on October 24, 2009 02:10

Hope the 32 bit works without slowing down too very much as I am about to update all 3 of my Vista machines to Win 7 64 bit. There's just too little reason not to avail myself and my family of the inevitable advance and finally make proper use of the processors. If Flock falls by the wayside because it refuses to keep up, so be it. I find it difficult to imagine that the now over 2 million users will keep sitting on 64 bit processors and crippling them with software designed for what's rapidly becoming obsoleted hardware. Flock stars, Evan and gang! Please step up to the plate and help people experience the environment their dual and quad core processors are meant to provide!-

joe2pointoh replied on July 29, 2009 17:47 to the question "Twitter people bar DMs column out of sync" in Flock:
Shiny workaround. Actually now twitter is the one in error showing me 9 DMs where there are only 8 but that's one between me and them lol. I would like to see this sync'd however or at least a manual delete option added?
I was quite surprised it didn't automatically correct when the followed people (and of course their associated DMs) were unfollowed. The other columns appear to sync up on a regular basis. I did also try to @flocker you on this but you never responded on it there, so I gave this a shot.
Thanks for the workaround now hopefully I can remember to go removed DMs before I unfollow and see if Flock syncs up. I bet it still won't tho.
Joe
joe2pointoh asked a question in Flock on July 29, 2009 11:51:
Twitter people bar DMs column out of syncTwitter people bar doesn't sync properly. If for example a selection of people have been un-followed their DMs to you will automatically disappear (be purged) from your Twitter profile but the Flock Twitter DMs column still shows them forever.
Could you please either add a manual sync option or at least a manual delete for unwanted DMs to the sidebar actions? They're already gone from the actual twitter account at that point so the only action available in the flock people bar is view profile. Manual Delete would be useful. Flock syncing up and removing them when Twitter does (expected behavior) would be optimal.
Thanks!-
