I noticed this to and at least with the books it sorts secondarily by release date now. It was still in the correct order for most of my things but i had to change a bunch of dates to get them correct and there are still a few that aren't in the order i want.

if you click on library it shows items by import date starting with the most recent on top and the oldest on the bottom
