Joe Hayes replied on July 27, 2009 20:58 to the problem "Very annoyed with Mr. Plumber" in Coolray & Mr. Plumber:
Mr. Plumber had proposed replacing the entire pressure balanced cartridge assembly in Mr. Redds leaky tub and shower valve. Anything less would amount to putting a "band-aid" on the problem, in our opinion. Mr. Plumber's goal is to offer the Customer a permaniate solution to their problem, not a temporary fix. All options that we presented to Mr. Redd were declined at the time of service.
Since he was not satisfied with our service, I am refunding Mr. Redd his $49.

Joe Hayes replied on July 06, 2009 18:02 to the problem "Unreasonably High Charge" in Coolray & Mr. Plumber:
Mr. Plumber does not want to charge anymore than we have too to preform a service, but there are many other factors that go into establishing a price so that a small profit can be made. Company overhead has to factor into establishing a fair price, and this represents the better part of our pricing. Regardless of the nature of the call, these fixed costs' remain the same; General liability insurance, vehicle insurance, workers compensation insurance, truck expenses, rent, benefits, etc. These costs' have been paid by the company prior to us even coming to someones home for service.
In order for Mr. Plumber to continue to offer the highest level of Customer Service that we are known for, we will always insure that our prices are carefully monitored so that the Customer receives the value for which they paid.
