Joseph Young replied on May 18, 2009 17:58 to the problem "Inport_objのMapが反映しない" in PixelActive:
Babelfish says, "It is Japanese, you do not see. DAE_file which is converted with MAYA doing Inport, map_data is not reflected."
map_data is not a standard part of Collada 1.4.1. It is a custom attribute unique to Maya. Though we currently do not support all the custom attributes from Maya and 3dsMax, we are always working to improve compatibility and future releases should have more support for the common custom attributes.

Joseph

Hello Elbey,
I think the best course of action is to contact info@pixelactive3d.com
to have your questions answered. We use GetSatisfaction mainly to
answer general questions that the entire community are interested in.
You're questions seem to be specific towards a specific application.
We're happy to discuss this with you, but think it would be easier and
more timely if done through e-mail or telephone.
Cheers,
Joseph

Joseph Young replied on April 27, 2009 21:59 to the question "Price Point" in PixelActive:
Hello Michael,
Thank you for the good question. We are working with the professional
developers because CityScape's ability to build very large urban
environments works well for them. We see the potential that CityScape
has for all developers and may consider multiple products later on.
Currently, PixelActive's focus is on the professional developer and
ensuring that we provide the best experience for them. Thank you for
your interest in CityScape.
Cheers,
Joseph

Hello Elbey,
Thank you for the great questions.
1. You can add attributes to different objects and locations within your scene via meta data objects. You can read more about it on your website.
http://pixelactive3d.com/Products/Cit...
2. You can add street names to roads the same way as #1. Street signs will not display the new street names currently.
3. Cities can be divided into varying sizes. I believe the current constraint is that the regions will all be rectangles. If you are looking to district a size into a specific shape, we do not currently support that feature, but are always welcome to service work for customer requests.
Thank you for your interest in CityScape!
Joseph Young replied on April 02, 2009 18:15 to the problem "Demo would not install in Windows 7" in PixelActive:
Hi Anthony,
The current demo of CityScape will not install on Windows 7 Beta. The primary reason is because our customers are using Windows XP and Vista, so we're focusing our support on those two platforms. In the future we will be releasing the demo as Windows 7 compatible and will be sure to update this page when that happens. Thank you for your patience and continued support of PixelActive's CityScape!
Cheers,
Joseph
