Yeah in reality. I hopped out of a few songs that I normally play because I didn't want to take the negative hit on my rank due to the fact that transitioning from Circ to Rect didn't go so well.
It's definitely harder on the eyes then the circ's were. Perhaps you could have the rect's for the hard level and circ's for easy and medium. I'm still a medium player so I'm sure it makes hard easier but it really ruins the experience for new players.
Additionally, all of your demo videos show circles still, which means you would have to redo those too. No offense, JL is really awesome, but please return the circ's for Easy and Medium. It definitely made it harder on medium and easy, regardless of whether it made it easy on hard.
joedeveloper replied on September 16, 2008 04:00 to the problem "OFFICIAL Stuttering In Game" in JamLegend:
Hi Ryan,
I turned on the FPS as suggested. I was getting 80's for most of the song. Throughout the song there was stuttering. Obviously Chrome uses the same core as Safari, I tried it with IE7 and FF 3.0
Interesting thing is that my Dell Vostro 2.0 GHz plays it better than my HP Laptop which is 2.4 GHz duo core. Difference being the HP is Intel and the Dell is AMD.
I'm wondering if there is a correlation between this. Anyhow, with Flash, performance has always been about the CPU which makes it hard to target. However, now that most machines are higher speeds it shouldn't matter as much.
Good luck on troubleshooting.

Pause not functioning like you would think.Looks like when you play Abby and Audrey and you press space/pause half way through, and then come back after a few minutes and press space/pause it says you finished the song. But your global rating drops by about 1000 points. Not sure what the bug is on this one. Just wanted to let you guys know. Great work so far.

Hi AG,
Yes, Click2Message does have some simliarities to other applications on facebook. Basically Click2Message lets you put a Flash Widget on your facebook profile (with the new template it's on the Boxes tab). After you configure where you would like calls to come to, your friends can type in their number, click call and be connected to the phone number your wanted to be reached at.
In general, it's simliar to GrandCentral, Jaxtr, JaJah and a few others. However, Click2Message is also a service which means the Click2Message API can be integrated into any web based platform.
Hope this helps.
Thanks!
Joseph
