A comment on the question "I want a new Font" in PBwiki:
InField, CharWrite looks really neat! It seems to be exactly the sort of thing to solve the problem of entering IPA characters into a webpage.
I've filed a ticket (#1242) regarding adding support for CharWrite. Please speak up in a few weeks if you don't get any updates from me. – Joel Franusic, on July 10, 2008 00:30

Joel Franusic replied on July 03, 2008 19:07 to the question "copy protection" in PBwiki:
Unfortunately, it's nearly impossible to prevent people copying images online. If you can see, read or hear it online, you can copy it.
Without knowing more about your situation, I suggest that you set your wiki to "private" and only invite people that you trust.
Can you tell me more about your situation? While you can't prevent copying, there may be things you can do to discourage it.

A comment on the idea "Let users "prove" that a site has OpenID support." in OpenID Foundation:
Yes, that is what my proposed idea might solve. With my idea, you'd just paste a link onto the Demand OpenID list, and then some software (or a human) would then use that link to verify that the site is now OpenID enabled. – Joel Franusic, on July 01, 2008 21:37

Joel Franusic shared an idea in OpenID Foundation on July 01, 2008 20:33:
Let users "prove" that a site has OpenID support.Let people "prove" that a site supports OpenID by submitting one of two types of links:
1: A link to the login page containing a form with and "openid_identifier" input field.
2: A link to a website that describes the site in question as having OpenID support (a blog post for example)
Joel Franusic reported a problem in OpenID Foundation on July 01, 2008 20:29:
It's possible to submit sites that already have support for OpenID!I just submitted "my.pbwiki.com" as a site that doesn't support OpenID -- even through it does. Any plans to allow people to say "no this site really does support OpenID"?
Joel Franusic replied on July 01, 2008 20:15 to the question "Why is my email/number of emails displayed on the welcoming screen before i log into my account" in PBwiki:
Nana,
It sounds like this is a Windows XP issue, and not an issue with PBwiki.
However, I think that I did find the solution to your problem. Searching Google for "disable windows unread email" turned up lots of results, this one looked the best: http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=30...
WARNING: It is possible to damage your system by following the steps in that article. Be sure that you follow the instructions exactly or you might damage your computer.
Hope everything works out for you! Thanks for using PBwiki!
