Thanks a lot for the very fast reply. At least I know this is not possible at the moment. I understand the reasons. Flickr and PolarRose are made in the first place to share photo's with friends, family or the whole world. Maybe it would be better to solve this by making the privacy settings on Flickr more advanced. Something similar like is possible on facebook with custom groups so it will be possible to create more custom groups than family and friends only.

Polarrose is the first and only face recognition application I use. I do not have support for it yet in the Iphoto ’08 and do not want to upgrade to ’09 yet.
I rather spend my money for online solutions. I like to concept of online photo storage and management including face recognition as they are available to me everywhere.
I am still interested in this feature however. When you would be able to offer this feature as a premium (paid) service I would certainly pay for it if the price is reasonable. – Joep Hein, on August 27, 2009 09:20

I cannot find the option to change this. Currently when I click "sources" I only can change "Only import photos that have a specific tag" setting. Please advise how to get private photo's imported only visible to me.

I already solved it by deleting my account and starting from scratch. This is quite an annoying, but can be easily prevented now when I know e-mail addresses should be unique per person. Unfortunately too late for me know.
