Also, can you send me the Facebook profile URL of the person (or persons) you're attempting to challenge that result in the "Oh noes!" error?

Nobody is more frustrated or embarrassed than me, trust me on that. I'm truly, honestly sorry for this. Every time we think this bug is fixed we see that it's only fixed for some of the people. So here's what we need to do:

1. Has your friend who you're trying to challenge installed the latest update and logged into it?
2. What is your Facebook profile URL?
3. Can you add me (http://facebook.com/joestump) as a friend and attempt to challenge me?

Also, please send me your email so that we can send you a little something as an "I'm sorry" to support [a] blundermove [d] com.

Again, we're extremely sorry about this and will work diligently to get this fixed ASAP.

Just wanted to update everyone. Chess Wars 1.2 fixes this problem and was submitted a month ago. We've contacted Apple to see what's taking so long to approve this minor (but important!) upgrade.

Version 1.2 fixes the problem and has been awaiting Apple's approval for over a week now. It should be approved any time now. Let us know if the issue persists after the upgrade.

Well, I have good news and bad news. The good news is we've found and fixed the bug. The bad news is we have to wait for Apple to approve the fix (normally 7 - 15 days).

If you send me your UDID (http://bit.ly/X39q) to support [at] blundermove [dot] com we can get you a fixed built prior to Apple approving the application (you'll just delete this one when the update comes through).

Do you get that after attempting to send the challenge? Do you get the dialog that asks you to choose a color?

They're not showing up in the list of people you can challenge? We've had numerous reports that sending invites (which is a different tab than the challenge screen) that we're looking into.

If you and your friend are both friends on Facebook, have both installed the app, and have both logged into the application you should be able to see each other in the challenge tab.

If your friend is not showing up in the challenge tab then click on your name in the inbox and then click on the clear cache button. Relaunch the app and give that a shot.

Can you go to http://bit.ly/V0j8U and follow the instructions to send out any crash reports (ending in .crash and starting with Chess_) to support@blundermove.com? That'll go a long way in figuring this out.

After clearing your cache the friend should show up in the Challenge screen.

So the friend who purchased the app is not a friend of yours on Facebook? Or they have not logged into the app? If you two are friends they should show up under the Challenge tab.

Can you challenge and play a game with the friend who purchased the app (You have to be friends on Facebook)? Also, when the inbox loads up (which says you have no games likely) click on your name, which takes you to your profile. In there is a button that says "Clear Cache". Can you try doing that, restarting the app and attempting again? Also, try restarting the phone?

We're definitely looking into the problem though. Sorry about this!

Is this when you are in the "Challenge" tab or the "Invite" tab after hitting the plus screen? Did you update to the latest version (1.1) that was released a few days ago?

We've started work on a Flash version of the game that will allow you to play against people without an iPhone/iPod Touch. No timeline yet, but I'm hoping in 4-6 weeks to have it live. Until then your opponents must have an iPhone/iPod Touch.
