Yes, by giving them the admin password. We intended it to be a "shared" password between people.

We added a way to password protect your group. If you login as the Admin, you can create a shared group password to share among your users. Everyone will have to know the password to view group's site.

The email you receive shouldn't have www in the address. If it does, could you forward the email to joe@fixieconsulting.com?

Did you receive an email about the group you made? You should have received a welcome email with your group information.

You can send joe@groupieguide.com the email address you used when creating your group and I can look it up for you.

It's generally not a good idea to send cleartext passwords through email, but we weren't sure in this case.

Right now, the admin password for GroupieGuide sites is intended to be shared across all the administrators of the group, so we thought there might be some value in including the password in the email.
