How to add videos to quick list from the new style of user pages? So, with the old version of user pages, you could add videos for your QuickList, just as from your search results. As now the user pages have a new form, it seems that you can't add videos to your QuickList directly from a user's upload stream... just from your search results.
Is it annoying for you as well or just for me?

RSS by new uploads is a mess for frequently uploading users. Solution? For the sake of example, see the Youtube page for BBC World News:
http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=b...
And the RSS feed for it:
http://www.youtube.com/rss/user/bbcwo...
Now, is there a way to make something useful out of it? To have an RSS feed showing every and all items, and possibly in order close to how the items show up on the user's Youtube page?
Many thanks!

Thank you for your answer Eric.
I may suggest you that can have separate categories for people registered as company employees. Perhaps you can have lower and higher category of employee registrations, and customers will know from who they can expect a meaningful answer at least.
I am also suggest you that make the "Add a comment" box bigger to be able to edit my answer to you.
Thanks! – Joffrey, on April 21, 2009 16:18

Yes, I chose to clear my data, expect for Browsing History, which I chose not to clear.
As I said, roughly out of 49 times of 50, Firefox reloads the tabs with next restart, 1 in 50 times it loses them.

Where is this "Visited pages" which you refer to? I can't find it. – Joffrey, on April 21, 2009 16:05

Thomas,
The Downloads windows is not open, and Firefox asks me:
"Do you want Firefox to save your tabs for the next time it starts?"
And I say: "Save and Quit". – Joffrey, on April 21, 2009 16:01

Is it possible to install Windows XP from hard drive?Hello,
I have a netbook computer and the question is if it is possible to fully install Windows XP from hard drive partition by extracting the file install files from the CD to the hard drive, then make it bootable?
I have found one similar solution:
http://www.tech-recipes.com/rx/578/wi...
But it still requires a floppy disk to boot.
For Vista, there is a full working solution for installing it from hard drive:
http://11011.net/archives/000645.html
I know it is not official, but I need it. Is it possible to install & boot XP from the hard drive?
Many thanks!

What are your policies for the companies customer agents? According to your policies, do they have to answer to a meaningful question? It seems like they do not plan to answer my questions at all. But the problems are still real, and the questions still important for me.
Many thanks!
Joffrey asked a question in Mozilla on April 09, 2009 12:58:
Sessionstore.js emptied after restart. Why?When I properly close Firefox -when it asks to save my tabs, I chose Save and Quit-, it does not show any error message when quitting, but when the next time I restart Firefox, it loses my previous 24 tabs (OK, maybe it's too much? Tell me if it is improper use), ans the sessionstore.js file, which by default stores the URLs for previous tabs is also emptied. It usually restores my tabs normally, so my settings in general should be OK, but after a while, let's say after the 50th restart it forgets my previous tabs.
Do you also have the same problem? Personally I use the Portable version of Firefox. So, if no one has the same problem, then I should ask them about the problem?
Many thanks!
Joffrey asked a question in Participatory Culture Foundation (Miro) on March 19, 2009 17:39:
MISC questions and suggestions. Here are my questions and suggestions to Miro:
1.
Is it possible to see the sidebar while playing a video? It would be very useful.
2.
It would be also useful if I can begin to play a video or audio while it is still downloading, and only partially downloaded. It would be useful for seeing long videos, listening to podcasts.
3.
For me it would be also useful if I can listen to podcasts and watch videos without downloading them as a file, only cashing them as a temporary cache for easier navigation into the file. After I have finished with seeing/listening, it is deleted. So, a task based file deletion instead of the time stamp based.
4.
The "add site" feature could look like in Songbird: for example, I add a site, it looks for playable audios on it (Songbird is an audio player), not shows the actual site like in a web browser.
It would also be very useful for seeing a person's full Youtube channel, more than just the lase 20 videos. Is it possible to do that in any way? I think if you want to compete with Youtube, you should integrate it's features to your software very well :)
So, is there any way to add not only a feed, but an actual website with lots of videos on it, and not see it in the website view, but the same way as the feeds, only showing the videos with the possibility to watch and download them?
5.
It is also partly about Youtube: can I see before downloading how long the actual file will be in time stamps?
6.
You can also add a simple feature to "show more information" about the actual video when I hover the mouse pointer over it. Without having to click on "more info". Just like in Youtube, again :)
7.
Be it a BSD style license instead of GPL ;)
These are my thoughts come into my mind while using Miro on how it may be improved.
Thank you guys, keep up the good work!

"To add an item, drag it onto the name of this playlist in the sidebar."
I have the newest Miro, downloaded some videos, and still unable to figure out where and how to drag and drop to create a playlist. Maybe someone would be kind enough to create a screencast video about the procedure, upload it to Youtube or the Miro website? It would really help us n00bs to proceed.
Thanks!-

Quicklist switch back from full screen restarts vidsMy problem is: I have a Quicklist set up, I start viewing the vids in full screen, all is fine. then I have to pause ans switch back to normal mode to check other applications, etc...
But after that, I am unable to continue back with my Quicklist from where I have left it. If I switch back from full screen to the normal view, when playing a Quicklist, the video also restarts and the following videos will not play in my Quicklist.
Anyway, if I am not in a Quicklist, then I can switch back and forth to and from full screen, the videos will not restart. Only when I try to see a Quicklist.
Now, is that a bug or a feature? Do you have the same problem guys? Is there a solution coming?
Big thanks!

Jason,
The situation is this: you limit one's account, that's ok, your business. But you don't let your customer to close his account, unless he sends you additional personal documents. I think it's ridiculous. It is understandable to send in documents for opening an account, but it's not understandable why someone have to send documents to close the account. – Joffrey, on February 02, 2009 07:46

Privacy and legal issues.Hi,
If I manage to finally close my account, will you delete all my personal documents you previously required from your customers to upload to you - just to be able to close thir accounts? Or my personal data will remain on your servers forever, even after I closed my account?
How do you mean in your customer agreement that your customers can' sue you? What kind of legal base do you have fur such blatant approach for customer care?
Yours sincerely.
