John reported a problem in Google Reader on July 07, 2009 00:33:
Google Reader search sometimes does not find?Usually search within Google Reader works fine. But sometimes it appears that the search index is out of date or something.
For example, in this screen shot you can clearly see Nintendo in a recent post from a feed.
However, when I search for Nintendo, Reader finds older posts but not the one in the first screen shot:
This seems to happen fairly often.-

A comment on the question "Sync with "Gmail for Your Domain"?" in Plaxo:
Please confirm if I understood you correctly. Address book sync should work in 2-3 weeks but there is no target yet for calendar syncing. Is that correct? Thank you very much for your responses!! – John, on May 14, 2008 01:05
A comment on the question "Can't sync Plaxo with Google with Period in user ID" in Plaxo:
I have indeed contacted Plaxo support. The problem has nothing to do with the period in the ID. However, after several days of debugging, the support person finally told me it was a Plaxo bug and was submitted to engineering. Is there anything you can do to raise the priority of the fix? – John, on May 14, 2008 01:01
John asked a question in Plaxo on April 29, 2008 18:30:
Sync with "Gmail for Your Domain"?Is there any way to get Plaxo to sync with a "Gmail for your domain" address (see http://www.google.com/a/help/intl/en/...)?
I would like to sync with a Google-internal Gmail account (e.g., bill@google.com). But the sync wizard won't accept that as a valid Gmail account ID.
John asked a question in Plaxo on April 29, 2008 18:24:
Can't sync Plaxo with Google with Period in user IDI can't get Plaxo to sync with Google. I enter the correct ID and password and the wizard says "Starting Sync." The sync wizard just spins for a while and then says it can't sync due incorrect user ID or password. I have used the ID both with and without the @gmail.com (e.g., bill as well as bill@gmail.com).
My Gmail ID has a period in it (like bill.smith@gmail.com). Could that make Plaxo unhappy?
John asked a question in Dipity on April 24, 2008 11:54:
Can Dipity export timelines? If I put a lot of effort into a Dipity timeline, I'd like to be able to export that to text or xml or something so that I can transfer it to another application if Dipity goes under. Is that possible?
A comment on the question "Are Dipity Timelines Private?" in Dipity:
Cool. What about exporting timeline data? – John, on April 24, 2008 03:46
