I'm no one official, but on my setup, the duplicates appear to be applications that slife doesn't already have icons for, like my CAD and my 3d programs. If you click on the dots, it will bring up a tidbit about what it is, and that should tell you what application that row is.

I do wish it had a name with the icon, or a simple way to add the icons, the way it does if you view by Applications, rather than day.
