1) The shock eye to eye is 6.5" the stroke is 1.5"
2) M6 bolts (6mm) I believe they are 40mm long
Spacers, reducers, bushings or shock hardware are 6mm x 22mm for the shock.

You must have gone down pretty hard to do all that damage. Glad to hear your ready to get back on board. Please contact john@mountaincycle.com as the 12mm thru-axel dropouts sets are in stock. Also they will be posted soon on the web for easy one-stop shopping :)

We are sorry that you did not pick up a set of 9mm dropout while they were available in 2007 (2 years ago in the US). We are working very hard to have them produced in time for the on-line store. The issue was that they would have to sell to you for $100.00 a pair using an outside vendor. So I can no longer give you a time frame on when we will have them but please trust that we are working on it. If I may try to help in another way, what rear hubs are you running?

8 x 70 "all shoulder" would be nice but I don't think it will make much difference. You can also convert to a locknut on the other side to help prevent the bolt from getting loose.

Any 6.5" x 1.5" (165mm x 38mm) will fit. Watch the piggyback as they may contact the frame.

In the past a coil spring rear suspension was spec'd OE for the Fury. I think the major reason for this is that air shocks were just not good enough at the time. As for the air shock options I have tested (just a few at this time) my choice is the Marzocchi Roco Air TST. I will be testing an ELKA stage 5 coil shock shortly and will post results when I finish testing.

I have not used any new X-Fusion product but by design the H3 looks interesting. I really have to send out the generic response of "there are many great shocks out there". I would highly recommend using the 7.5" x 2.0" (190mm x 51mm) size that is specified for the bike.

Bearings recommended are 6001 2RS MAX type. The 6001 measures ID x OD x Width 12 x 28 x 8 mm.

Also being 5'6" and having the ability to ride the medium and small size I would suggest the small. Its a nice tight cock-pit, easy to get back on/off the seat and plenty of room to pedal.

Sorry to say those have been gone for a while. We do have the San Andreas Pro Stop Adapter and MOHO CXS Disc adapter (for the early CXS that did not come with any disc option).
