Why cant I add content to my Blog

I am not able to add a new Blog. When I add a blog title - the Title types in OK - but I can't type any Text in the box provided as the Text box is inactive.
I have tried clearing my cache and resetting Safari as I'm using a Mac.
Can anyone help please ?
