A comment on the question "I cannot connect to Yuuguu" in Yuuguu:
Yes we only use the HTTPS port for the desktop client communications. It is odd that telnet xmpp.yuuguu.com 443 is not connecting for you. Maybe contact your local network admin. – John Kleiser, on December 09, 2009 14:45

Can you get a connection if you telnet to xmpp.yuuguu.com port 443? If you can't my best guess is that something in your company's network is blocking the connection. – John Kleiser, on December 08, 2009 15:41

Hi Glenn,
Currently it is calculated as minutes used over the last 30 days. But we reserve the right to change our offerings. Obviously as an employee of Yuuguu I would be gratified if you considered upgrading to a paid for offering which would give you unlimited usage and fund a service that I think is useful and worthwhile.
If you have problems or questions regarding Yuuguu in future let us know.
Regards,
John

John Kleiser reported a problem in Spotify on November 19, 2009 16:22:
Spotify hangs part way through playing an advert.Over the last couple of weeks I have had spotify hang part way through playing an advert. This probably happens once or twice a day.
It is like the audio for the advert hasn't been fully downloaded before it is played. The only workaround is to restart spotify.
I am using spotify 0.3.22 (revision 58364) on Windows XP.

Recording Yuuguu web conferences is not available at the moment. But it is a direction that we are interested in going. For a tailored solution have a look at our corporate offering - http://www.yuuguu.com/pricing/yuuguu-...
A comment on the problem "I don't use Yuuguu that often. Why would I be blocked for using all of my free screen share minutes?" in Yuuguu:
Thanks for send me your email address. You are blocked because you have used more than 100 minutes of screen sharing with people not on Yuuguu. 45 minutes on the 3rd, 13 minutes on the 4th and 76 minutes on the 5th. – John Kleiser, on November 16, 2009 12:46

A comment on the question "Two different links" in Yuuguu:
Some parts of the user experience (including web share url) depend on the whether you are a Yuuguu user or a partner user and not which version of the software you are running.
It looks like you are a PowWowNow (a Yuuguu partner) user and your friend is a plain Yuuguu user. I imagine that you signed up using the PowWowNow website and your friend signed up after downloading Yuuguu from the Yuuguu website. – John Kleiser, on November 11, 2009 10:56

John Kleiser replied on November 11, 2009 09:40 to the question "Two different links" in Yuuguu:
Yuuguu provides its services to partners who want to have their own web share links. One of these is PowWowNow. If a PowWowNow user starts a Web Share the link will be http://powwownow.yuuguu.com . If a normal Yuuguu user starts a Web Share the link will be http://www.yuuguu.com/share
