Great. If you're interested I've put my own version of the code on my blog at http://blog.johnmckerrell.com/ - I've tweaked it a bit so that it matches the twitter box that's above it

Linking blog badges to the social graph using rel="me"On the blog badges it would be good if you added rel="me" into the anchor so that search engines can be aware that the link represents you and is one of "your" sites ("your" being the user).
John McKerrell shared an idea in bkkeepr on April 28, 2009 09:22:
Specifying a time with bookmarks.I would like to be able to specify the time for an update as I don't always have access to twitter when I'm reading, for example when travelling and especially when on a plane. This would allow me to note the times myself and enter them later.
This may sound like too much effort for a person to put in, but I'm actually developing a mobile app for updating bkkeepr and so it would be possible for me to continue marking bookmarks in this and then have it upload them later.
(I realise you're aware of this already as I've contacted you directly but thought I'd add it here as I couldn't see an existing entry)-

John McKerrell replied on April 08, 2009 07:13 to the question "Reverse Geocode lat/long requests" in MKE Computing Limited:
Interesting idea, I can see how this could work quite nicely but it would rely on the reverse geocoder being accurate enough, otherwise you'd end up displaying the wrong location. Also we would need to decide whether to use a different geocoder per service, i.e. use Google's when redirecting to Google, Multimap's when redirecting to Multimap etc. or whether just to use one for all.
Like I say though, it's interesting and definitely something we'll consider.

Really sorry to hear that you're continuing to have problems. I'll try to get in touch with the freethepostcode.org guy myself and get back to you. I suppose the only thing I can think to suggest is that perhaps it's worth submitting multiple times, also are you able to check your email while you're out and about? Obviously this isn't ideal and it should "just work" so I'll see what I can sort out.

I've just tried submitting a postcode myself and it seemed to work correctly. Can you check to see if the emails have ended up in a junk mail box or something like that? Can you also try submitting a postcode and confirm that iFreeThePostcode tells you the submission was successful?
If there is a problem with the submission then the app should tell you.

This site shows a great way to browse the submissions so far, as well as submissions to other projects including NPE maps and OpenStreetMap:

Hi Tim
This is a great idea and something that I'll certainly look at implementing. It definitely won't be in 1.2 though as that should be going out very soon with some very minor bugfixes. I also understand what you're saying about the easier that it is to submit many postcodes, the more will get submitted.

You might find the stats on this page interesting: http://www.freethepostcode.org/stats....
There is a progress page but it doesn't seem to do too much. I'll look into getting this fixed sometime.

Sorry I'm not sure what you mean by this. Google translates it as "request code for iPhone, thanks". If you're looking for the source code of this app, you can find that at http://blog.johnmckerrell.com/ifreeth... if you're looking for an iPhone developer please contact me directly, you should be able to do this through Get Satisfaction.
