Are you looking into a category/topics feature a la Alltop? I would love to be able to separate gossip rag stuff from tech stuff etc.

#1 - love this app. #2 - I think it would be great for you to get a Twitter account for Individurls. Many app owners are doing this and it is another great way to connect with your users.
