A great resource for sharing geospatial data
Finder and Maker are two great resources for distributing and visualizing geospatial data. I have encouraged my students to look through Finder first for GIS data for projects. I'm going to include Maker in future assignments for my Intro to Mapping/GIS classes.

Love it. I went there as a student and it was a great experience. I'm now working there as an adjunct and I've never worked with a greater, more dedicated group of people.

Issues with uploaded KML containing CDATA sections
Uploaded KML files that have description tags with CDATA already in them receive a duplicate set of CDATA opening and closing markers. This is causing errors in Maker and Google Earth.
