John LeBlanc reported a problem in Setster on August 30, 2009 00:34:
email in plain textIncluding mailto links is an open invitation for spammers to scrape and sell our addresses.
How about an option to hide the email link or optionally provide a hyperlink to a company contact form?-

More of "Web" Link Revealed in ProfileOn profile pages, how about omitting the "http://" portion of the "Web" link so that more of the URL is visible?
For instance, in my profile:
Web http://johnleblan...
could be:
Web johnleblanc.com
Since the label qualifies it as a web destination, it's already assumed that we're linking to a resource using the http protocol, yes?

Working now. So the moral of the story is if you're not yet associated with a company, widget code is unavailable.
Perhaps your UI folks might want to tweak that page template accordingly to avoid confusion for unauthenticated users or users without company associations.
Thanks for the time & attention.
John LeBlanc marked one of WaKi Apps' replies in Get Satisfaction as useful. WaKi Apps replied to the idea "Offer a private version of Get Satisfaction". John LeBlanc and 5 other people think it's one of the best replies.
