I was just assigned this questions: http://www.extension.org/aae/question...
It is 9 days old by the time I received it. It was recategorized to organic production today by Beth. So a couple of things. First, man does this make our CoP look bad. This question is really old, but I didn't know that this question even existed. I guess maybe it was miscategorized originally? Second, now that we answer it, does it get logged in the system that it took our CoP 9 days to answer it? Not true, and not fair if it does. How was it categorized initially? I'm wishing there was a way for the "system" to scan the text of the question to look for obvious keywords like "organic" and then assign them to me or at least someone signed up to answer organic production questions. I know this is a bit crazy and would be really complicated and might not work right, but it is just a wish. Third, how can I best make sure that this doesn't happen again? Do I just scan all incoming questions?

When I look at my Interests on my profile page, I see dairy cattle and horticulture. When I edit my interests, to remove those, they are not listed and so I can't remove them. Any idea why those are showing up under my interests?

I use Feedly for my RSS feeds. It's a Firefox only add-on. I can "favorite" certain feeds and then this way they are more prominent on my main feedly page. But I think Kevin's idea of the email is probably the way to go.

AaE doesn't reload page on pubsite?

Some UI suggestions for AaE on pubsite, could it be that the AaE form is a js window that opens or drops down so the page doesn't reload? Might give the impression of not having to leave the page you are on to ask the question. Also, could you ask the question first before having to enter any of the contact info? I like how drop.io lets me create my drop before I give any details. I think turning the experience around (asking before entering contact info, instead of entering contact first) might help retain folks during the process.

OK, sounds good. Removing the widget from the list would be great. See I created one, then didn't see it working, so I created another with a very similar name. I'm concerned that people will sign up to receive questions from the wrong widget since only one of them are actually being used. I know only one question was ever asked on the one I don't need. Just in case you can delete it for me, the name is "eOrganic.info widget" and the one I'm using is the "eOrganic.info website". Thanks! – John M., on May 06, 2009 16:03

Perfect Ben, just what I was looking for. The reason I didn't find this link is that it is only on the Home tab. I was swimming around in the FAQ tab and couldn't find any feed icons.
