Ah hahahaha, I'm fairly new to songbird, I actually never even considered that it could be changed! Well, I feel like a tool now :P

This is really irritating me, not so much for the previous / next but the ability to change the volume while playing a game. Been looking around a bit, can't find any way around it. I'll post back if I find anything.

Apparently, it does check for duplicates and automatically removes them, but only if it's the same path to the file. I don't think it takes into account meta data, so if you have multiple copies of the song from several albums, it'll count them as separate. Should probably be looked into...

I have this exact same issue. Exorcist doesn't help either, as that mysteriously culls tracks from my playlist but leaves about 8 from the 109 in there...
