With managed mode turned on, I get this error everytime I remove a file : The file does disapear, but a few seconds later I have an error message.

The error console shows :
Error: Unable to manage file: file:///-what I just deleted-.mp3

@Catch-22 Yes ! But making visualisations compatible with another system will allows us to start with a gazillon viz already available.

@Erik Ch. Is this a real comment ? Winamp has milkdrop, geiss (and everything else from geisswerks.com :)), while windows media player has ... some lines moving around, in a circle or in a straight line.

I like this idea, but only if we can use winamp's visualisations.

I don't know if that's easy to do or even feasable, though.

I have the error message everytime now (I'm doing a lot of modification to my files, adding cd covers etc). I've disabled managed mode for the moment.

I restart it from time to time.

FYI, I have a Last.fm account, but haven't paid the subscription (so no internet radio); I don't know if that's relevant.

Still no messages in the error console.

That's ok. I know the %20 is the html code for space, I was just wondering if that was the reason songbird couldn't find the file, or if that was a bug in the error console. – johnson, on July 17, 2009 21:49

Hi, I'm using songbird to manage my music files. I've just erased a bunch of files by mistake, which sucks.

Couldn't Songbird put deleted files in the recycle bin (on windows) OR ask a confirmation before deleting things ?
