I have tried more than a dozen times to send the verification code sms to 5566511. The message fails to send.

I can use short numbers to update my Tata-Sky satellite TV, so short numbers obviously work on BSNL post-paid.

I have also sent the verification code sms to +447624801423. The message appears to send, but I receive no response.

Is Twitter just a flash in the pan or are they serious about keeping customers and attracting new ones?
