Hi, sorry to hear you are having this problem. We are aware of a specific issue with some models of Sony Ericsson phones not being able to post photos. And, we will look into that issue.
Beyond that, make sure you are only attaching one photo per message. (If your email signature attaches an image, you will have to alter or disable the signature.) And, make sure you are sending the photo to your mobile posting address via email and not via SMS, MMS, or some other method.
If none of that helps, send a photo from your phone to support@tumblr.com with a Subject of "Phone Problem" so we can take a look at the message your phone is sending. (You might also send a photo to a personal email address so you can see how your phone is sending photos.) Thanks!
Marc :-)

Are you emailing the picture or are you sending it as an SMS? My phone allows me to use my gmail through IMAP, so I can attach pics and send them as an attachment.
I know for my phone, if I send a pic as an SMS, it generally doesn't attach, but embed itself into the message. I don't think Tumblr can pick that up.

From http://twitter.pbwiki.com/FindPage?Se... I found the following:
* Posty - A microblogging application which allows to post the same message with one click on different social networks (twitter, jaiku, pownce). http://spreadingfunkyness.com/posty/
* Brabblr -- A metatool similar to twitku but with support for Twitter, Jaiku, Pownce and 10+ microblogging services. Post to one, several or all services http://brabblr.com/
It looks like there may be even more solutions out there, some of which you can find by perusing these search results: http://www.google.com/search?q=twitte...

I'm finding the notifications management a little painful as well. I'm headed to SXSW and will be switching from Jabber to SMS. As I dont want a ton of SMS messages, it sure would be nice to be able to turn off notifications for everyone in one fell swoop, then I can manually enable notifications for those folks I'll be at SXSW with. Or better yet, how about using the "friends" setting as another tier of message enabling/disabling? "Get notifications from Friends only" or something...-

Thanks for yr reply crystal,
I have been more elaborate on my blog post on my twitter command issues http://libraryclips.blogsome.com/2008...
I want an IM command to:
- start persistent updates from all people I follow
- stop persistent updates from all people I follow
- start persistent updates from one person (this you have)
- stop persistent updates from one person (this you have)
What if I have persistent updates from 10 people I follow and I want to stop this for the time being
- I guess I have the command "off" is this correct
- and to start again "on" is this correct
What if I can't remember the 10 people I'm currently seeing IM updates for, I'd like a command to:
- show me who I'm currently getting persistent IM updates for
- this could be a kind of current status on how I'm using IM to receive updates
I could send a command that tells me:
- you are getting updates from all people you follow...OR
- you are getting no updates
- you are getting updates from person A, B, and C...OR
- you are getting updates from person A, B, and C, but you are currently on standby (off)
Another thing is the "whois" command is limiting, I want to search for people via IM, just like I can do on the web veision
Cheers,
John

i'd either like the command back, so i can leave all, the just track my username via sms, or have the option to only get @replies to sms, but leave all notifications on for im...
i just want to get @replies by sms, but i really prefer using im on the computer..
anyhoo, thanks crystal. @mspecht speaks highly of you!-

i think i did a leave all once by accident (maybe on purpose? ah, my carefree younger days), but if there's a way to do a follow all again (i'm thinking of following people via IM as a stop-gap way of integrating it into digsby) that'd be great. (shh if you just update my account i won't tell ;) )
if not, no big deal.

Hi,
You wrote:
"But where is the former IM command "follow all" or "leave all" on the webpage"
where are you seeing that? Is it lingering somewhere on the site, perhaps? We have a list of current commands here:
http://getsatisfaction.com/twitter/to...
and here:
http://help.twitter.com/index.php?pg=...
but follow and leave all are deprecated; we no longer have a command to turn off all notifications for everyone. On and Off are for the device, unless paired with a user name, in which case it is for a specific user. Would you find it helpful to have those commands back again?
Thanks!
