This is great, thanks for the update guys :)
One small request that I would make to build on this would be to be able to specify the mockup files to include in the pdf via some sort of file/directory chooser.
The reason being that for a large project I may have a lot of bmml files, possibly including sub-directories and the directories may have files that I don't want to include. It can be a pain to go through these and open all the files I want to include in the pdf into Balsamiq.
This functionality would also be useful for 'export to png', again allowing me to specify which files to export.

Great to hear that you are already looking into this :)
Those cetainly sound like good options for starters, others would be:
- cut, copy and paste
- layering submenu (Office 2007 does this quite well)
Of course, with the menus being context sensitive then you could offer common actions for group selections of similar controls such as colour or font settings.
Jon Boardman shared an idea in Balsamiq on November 04, 2009 11:48:
Please add more commands to the context menuIt would be really useful if there were more commands added to the context menu in the main view. I often find myself right-clicking on a selection of controls to perform actions such as group, align etc on the entire group, only to find that they are not there and I have to go to the properties/command window to do it.
Of course I know that these are on the context sensitive properties window and yes I am being lazy in a way but I do this a lot. it would be quicker to have these actions on the context menu also.

Thanks for replying so quickly, again :)
No worries, it's a bit of a pain I'll admit but not a major upheaval. Adding the [x] would be nice, thanks for that.
Perhaps the problem would have been lessened if there was also the option to do something like a _ at the begining to leave a space for an icon, like you can do with nodes in the tree view? At least this way the gap would have been regular and not just me padding out with a load of spaces. Just another minor adjustment :)-

Tab text sizing changed in 1.6.43I have installed 1.6.43 and noticed that the positioning (could be spacing) of the text in my tab control headers has changed.
So a tab control that looked like this:
Now looks like this:
One thing I should note is that I am using spaces to create space for icons and [x] to simulate a close button. Perhaps these would be useful additions to the tab control, in a similar way to how the tree control allows for icon spaces and convert something like [x] to a close icon?

Wow, thanks for the quick reply Peldi :)
I'll give it a look and let you know.
I have also noticed that my tab headers are looking different since opening in the new version. I'll look into this a bit more to see if I can provide you with some more information and enter a separate bug for it.
Great support response as always.

Icon is not being disabled on buttonsI have just downloaded the latest version of balsamiq (1.6.43) and noticed that when a button is disabled the image on the button is not greyed out.
Jon Boardman replied on October 26, 2009 09:23 to the idea "Exact copy/paste" in Balsamiq:
I have the same problem, even though I already know about CTRL+SHIFT+V.
The problem mainly comes about due to expectations set by other programs, I know that PowerPoint, for example, has the items paste into the same place when copying between slides. This is really useful as it allows me to copy common elements easily, as Eva recommends.
Beacuse I expect this behaviour, it is the first thing I do automatically. When I spot what has happened I know that I can use shift but it is gets annoying to have to redo the insert.-

Resizing a control goes too fast with auto-scrollWhen I am resizing a control and the cursor goes to the edge of the screen, initiating an auto scroll, I always find that the auto-scroll is way too fast and I end up with a massive increase in the size of my control. Would it be possible to slow this down somewhat or have the scroll speed relative to the distance beyond the end of the window?
Also, trying to scroll back up, while still resizing, can cause some weird behaviour with the new size switching between really big and small.

Strange drag-selection behaviour when outside of the windowWhen I do a drag-selection and the cursor goes outside of the Balsamiq window then selection rectangle shows some weird behaviour. The selection rectangle slowly shrinks back down to a minumum size then starts to grow again and to re-build the selection. Move the cursor back inside the window and everything is fine again.-
