Makes sense. The only problem I am seeing now is that when I renamed a file and tried to play it back, the server would not play it. I renamed the file "27-Cardinal's Nest" as the show ID was "27". When I scheduled it to play, I watched the autopilot Large Matrix and saw it switch (as well as our switcher) switch over to the right input, but status stayed at "Stopped". Any ideas why this would be? -

Linking File to ShowJust wondering the best way or maybe some tips people have for taking a file of video and attaching it to a show you have created in cablecast. Right now we are setting up the record schedule to record the show, but we would like to import files from Final Cut or other editing software to then link them to the show and put those into the channel schedules to run. -

I think it has to deal with our sending of the signal to our cable headend. When I route the server outputs through the router to the preview monitor it looks fine. When I route it to the channel output (which is then sent to the cable headend and put live over the cable system) that is when it gets "hot".
The only reason this confused me is because we currently use SVHS decks to play programs and those don't have an issue with iris being too hot, in fact the preview and live cable system look the same. -

Playback iris issue.I am having troubles with my iris as I playback videos from the server. When I play the video on the computer in quicktime it looks fine. When it plays back, it is really hot. Is there away to adjust iris?
