You can download the update again from iTunes for free. The update is needed for compatibility fixes for the latest version of Campfire from 37signals.

This appears to be an error with the Campfire service. I have contacted 37signals and will report back.

Are you logging in with a Basecamp username and password or are you using a Campfire username and password? The two may be different.

What's the URL you're using to login via the web interface?

Rooms are created in the standard web interface.

Ember does not currently support creating rooms or other account management actions like adding people.

Ember is for use with the 37Signals' Campfire group chat application. You will need to have an existing Campfire account or you can sign up for a free or paid account here:

http://campfirenow.com

Once you have your Campfire account, within Ember you can enter the name of your campfire account domain in the domain field, and your email address and password in their respective fields.

This is a strange one. We'll get this fixed in a future update. We already have an existing update submitted to the App Store so it will probably be a little while before that happens.
