Jonathan replied on September 24, 2009 22:32 to the question "Change password link takes me to Forgot password page" in foursquare:
No it doesn't work -- because resetting your password doesn't state if it lets you choose the new password. Many sites with a "forgot password" merely set a new random password.
If it does let you change the password via a link, then this could be fixed with copy alone. But not being able to specify what password you want is completely f'ing shameful.

Can't delete To Do ItemsI can't delete to-do items from the iphone app or website.
Items in the Top12 can be deleted or demoted.
Items in ToDo can only be marked as done.-

can't check in on iphoneI can't check-in on iPhone to anything.
I click the check-in button, and then that's it. It doesn't give me an error or anything, but if I go to my history on the phone or website, I have 0 checkins.
boo.

Heather-
Try changing your phone number to something like 1212121212 , then changing your name and the email address.
I signed up with 1234567892 -- because i didn't want to share my number either. when new sites don't have delete buttons, I just change the name and email so its orphaned. you can even use screw.foursquare@spam.la and check http://spam.la if they need a confirm link.
btw, are you the same heather champ that is friends with toby and michele ?
Jonathan asked a question in foursquare on March 13, 2009 12:39:
phone required? This should be optional for signup - not required.
iPhones are location aware. Twitter and other new services remove the need for sms/phone that dodgeball required.
i like the idea - we have some good friends in common - but i'm really wary of giving any service my SMS number and risking a bunch of people sending me SMS through it.

Jonathan reported a problem in Pivotal Labs on February 02, 2009 20:32:
Labels are inconsistent with caseLabels have a weird issue with case -- they appear as all lowercase in the 'labels' settings screen, but they can appear as both UPPERCASE and lowercase in the label menu and stories.
ie:
my stories can be assigned from the dropdown: RC1 rc1 Rc1
the labels screen shows all as : rc1
I'd love to be able to consolidate all the RC1 and Rc1 items into rc1 and just drop those case instances from the menu.

Starting tasks without point values.I'd like to be able to start tasks without giving them a value - or at least mark that as "under inspection"
For a lot of tasks, I need to start them just to figure out what the point value is.
The only way I can handle this is by assigning a point value to start the task, starting it and saying that it is "under inspection", and then adjusting the point value. I'd rather not suggest that a task ever had the initial point value, or have it affect my projected workflow until that has been correctly estimated.

Jonathan asked a question in Pivotal Labs on January 21, 2009 18:41:
Notifications should have better email header templatesright now the templates are:
Action ( Project ): Date: Title
It would be much better if it were:
"PivotalTracker" - Project - Action - Title
Date is worthless, since its in the email header/sort list
Naming things "PivotalTracker %(project)s" would make sorting 10x better
