That would be great! I was on hold an hour and 20 minutes before I even talked to anyone, and now I've been on hold being transferred for half an hour.
As far as the media being damaged, I have tried to download the trial version before, both on my old macbook, and the new MBP, and it had the same problem. Back then, I thought it was because I'd had a trial before, that expired, and I then uninstalled, but now the same problem occurs with the disk version. The only thing I can think of is that there's some sort of trace of the old trial still on the HD, (since I migrated all my data to the new computer) but I wouldn't know what to look for to get rid of it.
I'll email you my contact info right now.-

No, I haven't reformatted, it's still extended (journaled). I've been on the phone with technical support for two hours, and am getting nowhere; they won't even help me because I'm an educational product user, and don't have a serial number yet (it's still being verified). Right now, even a trial version would be better than nothing; I have some work I need to do.

Thats okay, it was just a thought. It might be something you want to think about adding in the future, as I imagine its a common situation: an amateur photographer or college student finally raises the cash to make the switch from iPhoto to Aperture, and as such rarely uses iPhoto anymore. Anyway, just a thought for ya. Great product though, I'd pay full price if I could afford it! Take care.
Josh Fields asked a question in Connected Flow on June 12, 2009 01:29:
Upgrade from Flickr export for Iphoto, to the aperture version? Is it possible to upgrade from Flickr Export for iphoto, to the aperture version? I purchased the version for iphoto, but have since purchased Aperture. However, I no longer use the plugin for iPhoto, but would use it all the time for Aperture.
