We know what you're talking about here. We've got a fix in the works. It didn't make 1.3 — but hopefully a Load More and Search will make 1.4.

This would appear to be an issue with Gowalla being unable to access the location of your phone. Are you sure you have "fine-grain" location services turned on in your Android Settings?

You're right. This is a known bug. In order to change your pw on the phone, you'll need to visit your Settings app on iPhone... but you probably already realized this. We'll get it fixed tho. Sorry!

We've been thinking through some similar ideas. Since I'm not keen on adding a third slider to the check in form (too many sliders!), a likely result is simply an app-wide toggle that would allow you turn off outgoing notifications from yourself for a given period of time.
