Joshua Kaufman shared an idea in The Bold Italic on November 08, 2009 21:55:
Deeper integration of listsThe Shortlist, Tried and True and Things to Try lists are neat, but the integration is pretty minimal. It would be neat if, for example, once I tried something from my Things to Try list and checked it off I could add a short comment about it, which would appear on the clip details page. Then clip pages would become much more rich and useful with user content but also providing ways for users to connect with each other.

Joshua Kaufman reported a problem in Gowalla on October 29, 2009 20:28:
No setting for push notifications in the Settings appI just received an email from Gowalla about push notifications.
"You'll only notice these changes if you've authorized Gowalla to send push notifications to your iPhone. You can do this by visiting your Settings app on iPhone."
But when I visit the Settings app, there's no setting for push notifications. What am I missing?

Joshua Kaufman reported a problem in atebits on April 27, 2009 16:43:
Problems with changing accountI have three accounts on Tweetie for Mac. I had a momentary bug where when I selected different accounts, it simply changed the active view (timeline, mentions, etc.) instead of switching accounts. It seems not to be happening for now.

Yet another Twitter app that doesn't pay any attention to unread/read state. Bravo:

This has quickly become a must have feature for me to use EventBox. I only follow like 100 people and I mark stuff as read all the time. I don't want to have to do it anymore. I love that I can use EventBox for both Twitter and RSS but if you guys can't figure this one out, I'm sorry to say that I'm probably outta here.

A comment on the idea "Show Twitter conversations." in The Cosmic Machine:
*ahem* I ~actually use the main window! (I used the HUD for a while but it was distracting me too much so I stopped.) It would be neat if that feature could be duplicated in the HUD but I don't think it's critical. I'd be interested to know how many others share elliott's view.
I'm excited too! :) – Joshua Kaufman, on March 31, 2009 06:47

I wasn't initially sure about this idea but now I'm in full support.
Some of the better Twitter apps allow you simply click on an icon or "in reply to username" link on an @reply (now called mentions) that immediately takes you to the original tweet. This is often required to grasp the context of the @reply.-

Joshua Kaufman replied on March 27, 2009 20:04 to the idea "Drag and drop to folder group creation..." in The Cosmic Machine:
Not so fast. Smart folders aren't normal folders, which is why they don't work like normal folders. For example, try to drag something into a smart folder in iTunes, Mail or Finder - doesn't work.
When you drag and drop things into normal folders on Macs, you move them. But in this case, you're not just "moving things into a folder" you're creating a filter. So it's understandable for me that you have to create them in a different way.
Joshua Kaufman replied on March 27, 2009 19:38 to the idea "Drag and drop to folder group creation..." in The Cosmic Machine:
Maybe intuitive but this isn't the way smart folders work anywhere else in Mac OS. Even though this would be cool, I'm not in favor of doing this just because it's too different from "the way things work" on Macs.
I would also caution to Milen that Cosmic Machine not add everything that "sounds like a good idea" as a todo. That's how software goes from a text editor to Microsoft Word.
