This is because the blogs are currently on a shared server and due to the nature of Apache and SSL, the server certificate cannot share domain names. This will go away when the blogs are moved to a dedicated server (in a month or so).

Login is still protected through SSL encryption. Your browser is just warning you that the server certificate is for a different domain name.

I recently joined the Sports Centre (not the Gym) and it is free for staff. You need a passport photo with you and your university ID when you join.

If you've an interest in this area, do you want to be on the proposed Project Team? We've no hard plans at the moment. Just floating ideas.

Personally, I prefer small to medium prototyping projects that would develop, implement and demonstrate something and show clear benefits to the university as well as a clear strategy and business case for implementation. I'm not so interested in large funded projects that include broad implementation. I think that is better achieved outside of funded project obligations.

If you're interested, let me know and I'll see you on Monday in the Atrium. If you can't make it but are interested, email me your thoughts and Paul and I can discuss and meet up with you when you are free.

Yes, this is a great idea. If you need some support in advocating this around the university, let me know. I've set up a Get Satisfaction site for the Learning Lab (where the university blogs used to reside), but never really pushed it. Nice to see a student rep doing it though.

This Firefox extension <https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/fire...> asks for the API key. The directions are to go to my Ma.gnolia profile and click on the advanced tab, which I cant' find. Thank you.
