Until I voted for this, and read this idea, it never occurred to me, but is great for getting a sense on who is really involved in the network and to what degree.

More control over groups, a lot more control

I see someone else already asked about categorizing the forum topics in the groups but we also need the ability to brand groups, arrange content like the profile pages, and so much more.

Ning has been talking about doing this, or at least giving us more control, but we haven't heard any specific details in 3-4 months and would like to hear what we'll be able to do in the future.

I don't understand why this isn't an option, some sort of system to replace any words that are designated by NC's to be removed and replaced with other words.

I know there is a tremendous user focus from Ning, and not editing content, but this should still be an option.

NC easy 'manage' option to make the homepage multi-columned

Before you tell me that this can be done in CSS...I am well aware, but not all of the code is setup in the most flexible way to do this, namely the photo section widget.

Please give NC's the ability, as an easy option in the manage section to change how many columns display on the homepage, whether it be just one, two, or gasp, four.

We'd still like to see a more well maintained trac system like Wordpress, but hopefully this website we help bridge some of that.

Separate the Activity into RSS feeds. Please.

Give the users the ability to track only updates in groups, forums, friend messages, whatever, instead of the latest activity feed having everything and the only way to turn off pieces is to turn them off on the public view as well.

I am also having this exact same issue. I uploaded the plugin, activated it, and love how it works, how the menus drop down.

But when I go to widgets, I can't edit them. They are greyed out.

Using Windows XP 64bit, Firefox 2.0.0.11
