This sounds like a Flash issue-- have you tried contacting adobe?-

why can't i get rid of my opera 9 settings!i run firefox, but i recently installed and uninstalled opera 9. now, when i try to install adobe flash player, it tries to copy the files to opera 9's file, which no longer exists, and i cant install it to run on anything because it gives me an error each time
