Hi Jeannie,
Adobe Acrobat is the product you need. You can find out the differences and capabilities between Acrobat and Reader here:

Hi Randal,
The trial last 30 days from installation (assuming it hasn't previously been installed as a trial) and can be downloaded here. The length of the trial is also published here:
http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/tdrc/ind...
As for your second question regarding your used copy of Photoshop, I'm not sure I completely understand your question. You mention you purchased it from Amazon, not Adobe (we don't sell used editions). If Amazon is requiring you to provide proof that you are a student, you will need to contact them.
If you are looking to purchase a new version, at a discounted rate, all of this info is on our Education Store:
http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/store/ht...
And finally, here is the details on qualifying:

I hope this helps,
Jamie

A comment on the problem "Manually remove Adobe Air runtime from mac when there is no Air uninstaller on the machine" in Adobe:
Hi Michael,
Thanks for the link and your feedback. The article you posted described the standard how to uninstall Air, but that didn't quite work for this user. This was the reason he posted in the first place.
The reason for the original post was because the user did not have the uninstaller present on his Mac.
My intent of my post was to make other users aware that Adobe provides free tech support for the Air Runtime. This forum is great, but it is certainly not an official Adobe support channel, and I'd rather users be aware of the official options should they stumble upon this original post in the future. I realized the issue was already resolved when I made my post, which is why I only provided the link to the support portal for the sake of "future" users who may have this issue. I don't particularly know what the issue was in this case, I was merely trying to be helpful for others. My apologies if I came off sounding like an Expert tech support consultant providing a template response, that wasn't my intent. This isn't an Adobe support channel, and I wasn't trying to resolve the specific issue as it had already been done. I probably could have searched the Adobe.com site for the article you posted myself and included it as you did, but what the user experienced wasn't the standard uninstall procedure documented in the article.
I'm not exactly the right person to be troubleshooting an Air uninstall issue, I just wanted to make the options available to others.
Thanks for your comments,

Hi Robert,
Adobe provides support for the AIR runtime for free using the web based support portal. Go to www.adobe.com/go/supportportal and log a new incident under "Air Runtime" and Customer Care should be able to assist you.
Thanks,
Jamie
Jamie Simpson replied on December 22, 2008 13:33 to the question "What really is the future of ColdFusion?" in Adobe:
Hi drdent,
CF is very much alive and kicking! Centaur (Codename for CF9) is currently in development and will be released sometime in 2009. We can't talk about specific dates just yet.
In addition, at Adobe MAX last month, we announced a new product codenamed "Bolt". Bolt is an Eclipse based IDE of building Coldfusion applications, which is tightly integrated into the server and includes a visual line debugger.
Since the release of CF8, adoption for CF has increased and so has the popularity.
If you google Centaur, there are tons of information you can find out about the upcoming release.
Thanks,
Jamie

The following technote describes how to uninstall and reinstall the Runtime (Troubleshoot Adobe AIR installation issues (Windows, Mac OS)):

If your still having trouble installing, open a free technical support ticket on the Adobe Support Portal and someone will assist you. http://www.adobe.com/go/supportportal
Also, try installing the runtime directly from Adobe.com. Sometimes when installing an Air Application, it also bundles the Air Runtime if it is not present on the client machine.
jsimp replied on October 30, 2008 20:22 to the question "Adobe AIR problems?" in Adobe:
Hi Yuki,
That's a rather generic error message, and can often mean alot of different things. Usually it is because the developer has mis-configured the installer, and an error results. Doesn't sound like that's the case here.
There are a few things you can try:
1) Try saving the air file to your desktop. Internet Explorer will mysteriously save it as a .zip, so just rename the extension to .air. Try manually installing by double clicking it from your filesystem, rather than using the launcher from air. That "may" work.
2) I'm assuming that all AIR applications are giving you this trouble, so if that is the case I would recommend uninstalling the AIR runtime, and reinstalling a fresh copy. You can go to add/remove programs and uninstall from there, then download the runtime by itself (not packaged with an app) by going to http://www.adobe.com and clicking on the Get AIR button.
Ensure you are logged in as Administrator or a user with Administrator priviledges when performing these steps.
