Cannot choose category when creating a message.

When adding a message the Category chooser does not list any of my already established categories.

Also can you select other users to get the message as you can on the web version of Basecamp?

I'm sending email but it never seems to get there. I've verified the address it's correct. I can directtly add from the web interface. It's been 20 minutes since I posted an email and nothing back. Is this still due to the spam attack?
