A comment on the question "The calendar events that are sent along with Sandy replies are unreadable by my Blackberry. In fact, the whole email reads blank but has a fat attachment. Any help?" in I want Sandy:
JT,
I'm with you on this - if I email Sandy to have her set up an appointment for me, I'd like to get the message as an actual meeting request. When it comes as an attached ICS file, I can't add the meeting to my calendar from my iPhone (sync'd via ActiveSync to my corp Exchange Server). The iPhone will not open attached .ics files. If it came as an actual Outlook meeting request, I could accept the meeting remotely. – Ben, on September 03, 2008 16:22

The link to list.rss used to be in the sidebar in /home, but it's not any more...
This page still says to go to your "home": http://iwantsandy.com/help/feeds#cale...
but probably it should just have a link for the http://iwantsandy.com/list.ics

Has this fix been rolled back or the issue otherwise re-awakened?
I have an archive tag in "Your tags" called "archive", and one in the "special tags" section that says "archived". The help guide indicates that @archive is the correct tag...
So maybe the items are correctly tagged, but the website isn't doing what I expect?-

I've made quite a bit of progress on this. While procrastinating on something else, I realized I could do a good amount of testing/fixing/hacking on my own.
I've succeeded in getting procmail to pipe Sandy's mail through a Perl script
that re-formats Sandy's mail such that the Blackberry does read it so it can be
added to the calendar. There's just two simple tricks. It doesn't yet handle multiple ics attachments.
The question is, is it worth doing. I thought for a while the answer was
actually no, but I would say "yes" with the following observation; it would make sense to extend the "email attachments" toggle to a third option: "send invitations".
The message format I'm creating also shows up in kmail (and I suspect other
MUAs as well) as an "invitation" to the event. That's useful. But that could
be a slippery slope towards having Sandy send invites and handle confirms etc when
you cc a third party. Which seems a natural way for Sandy to grow, but seems
far from simple.
Simplicity is hard.
And I'd probably be just as happy to have a good, if limited, m.iwantsandy.com.
In any event, I'd be happy to share the script. It's pretty simple and safe. If it doesn't do what it wants to do, it doesn't do anything. It uses Email::MIME::Creator.

I think the twitterization is really useful and I like it a lot. If it's connected to, say, GTalk, it's a very convenient input method, quicker than email; the lower latency means I can get the reminder off my mind (and onto Sandy's) faster.
I notice on a look up I got "first result". Any plans to enable a "next" result command? Or something to get more results?
