If you add a new folder or new account and choose to manually index, is it possible for that process to be in the background. For example I just ran a search for the first time and was told that the results would be incomplete and was asked if I wanted all mail to be indexed. I selected to do this, and now I'm prevented from performing any tasks within Postbox until either 9000 more messages are indexed or I stop the indexing process. It seems like I should be able to go onto another tab and view my existing or new mail while the indexing is taking place especially if that's done normally...

I just confirmed this issue still exists with 1.0b8 on Mac OS 10.5.6. I have Postbox set to only appear on Space 1, however, while indexing it has jumped to Space 2 and Space 4. Is it likely this issue will be fixed soon? I'm a new user and interested in using Postbox, however, I am not interested in using applications not compatible with Spaces.
