Right now it isn't possible to see scheduler items along side entered transactions. I understand why this would be desirable so I am considering making an option for "show next scheduled occurrence" in the transaction view which would allow you to recreate this scenario.

We have a whole slew of features planned for improvements to importing. Once implemented they should provide exactly the features you are hoping for here.

There are lots of issues with tag based budgets. The new category based budget system is currently getting the most attention.

The category based budget system is going to be enhanced to include many of the features (yearly budgeting etc.) that are currently only available in tag based budgets.

Overall the tag budget system never worked as well as we had hoped. I haven't fully decided what to do with this part of the application moving forward.

A comment on the question "Interest Rates" in Midnight Apps:

Right now split transactions are not at all useful in Cha-Ching. I am working on reworking this feature to make it work as everyone intends it to work.

The features actually mention multi-device sync with Cha-Ching 2.0. Currently you can't sync from iPhone to iPhone although these features are planned for a future free update.

iPhone OS 3.0 has some great peer sharing features that would allow us to accomplish something like that.

Something like this might be possible. I too often find myself wanting to track both the "transaction date" and the "reconciled date" although I usually use the reconciled date for most transactions.

Thanks for the heads up. The whole split transaction/attachments UI is being reworked so I will take care of these when I complete the changes.

Cha-Ching doesn't specifically print tax reports. However it is very easy to use the smart folder feature to create custom transaction reports that can be printed using the print command from the menubar.

Hi there,
Cha-Ching has a built in web browser. For each account you track in Cha-Ching you can specify your online banking URL.

You can then use the online browser to navigate to your online banking site to download a QFX OFX or QIF file. Cha-Ching will then allow you to import the downloaded file.
