I'm running SB fine on Vista right now.
Like i said, am i right in thinking this is the first time you have tried using SB to play your music on windows?
Which if it is the case leads me to assume the Linux version configures the music files artist, album, composer data in a different way to the windows version.

Well i assume the original platform that you imported (And when you first imported your library from whichever media player you used before SB) your SB library from was Linux, so i guess SB (or the program you used before SB) must have configured the files in a way to read the artist, album etc is not the same in which the windows version of SB does.

If they were bought in the iTunes store maybe it's because they are subject to DRM (which i'm reasonably sure SB can't play)
Try playing them in Windows Media Player, just to see if it's a SB error or because they have DRM.
(DRM being protected songs, meaning you can only play them if you are logged into your iTunes account, just if it was unclear!)

juhache started following the idea "Undo close tab" in Songbird.
juhache marked one of Laura Thomas' replies in Songbird as useful. Laura Thomas replied to the question "No URL in nav bar!".
juhache asked a question in Songbird on December 06, 2008 21:48:
Forward/Backward Mouse buttons don't work!On the side of my mouse there are a forward and backwards button, which work with most programs in some way, but i can't figure out how to make them work on songbird!
Is there anyway to set it up or is there a feature i need to enable or anything?
I have tried using the hotkeys tab in tools>options, but to no avail!
If it makes any difference i am running Vista and using a Dell wireless bluetooth mouse.
(also, offtopic question, does anyone know of a way/add-on which would allow me to add a permanent internet tab (of my homepage))
juhache asked a question in Songbird on December 05, 2008 22:53:
No URL in nav bar! This might be a really simple question, but i am a first time user and i really like this program, but i have one little issue!
When i use Songbird to surf the web, the current URL does not show in the nav bar!
I'm not sure if this is an error, or it's something you can change or it's just not part of the program, but any help would be great :)
Running build 860 (20081124135419)
Edit:
Just found another thread where someone has asked a similar question, but their solution was to restart and i have tried that!
I will try updating to the very newest build (if it's not already)
Also i am running Vista, if that makes any difference.
Edit2:
Newest build + restart later, problem solved!
