Thanks for the positive feedback. Currently we have no plans to expand beyond the UK in the foreseeable future and were we to make that move we would likely focus on other English speaking regions with similar education systems.

I can only apologise for the Gumtree spam - an over zealous temp and a lack of supervision by myself led to spate of it. Hopefully this won't occur again as we have implemented much stricter guidelines about contacting tutors.

at the moment the only way to 'search' for friends is via the Invite a Friend option.
If you enter an email address for someone who is already on Beanbag it will add them as a friend (once they accept) if they are not a member you get the option to invite them to Beanbag (but you don't have to do this)
Its not the smoothest solution at the moment and we are still thinking through the concept of 'friend' within Beanbag so we'll keep an eye on this..
