Julia's dashboard

i never had this rotation problem when i was using my nokia phone. now with my new sonyericsson, my pictures only appears as landscape. not sure if it has anything to do with the setting.any idea anyone?

also after i rotate the picture, it still appears as landscape the next time i click on it. am i missing a save button or something?
