Star Defense development dead?Since very little of the questions here get answered, the in-game shop for new content never appeared and even some bugs still remain unfixed, I believe that star defense development has been quit.

I have succeded every planet but the last one in easy and medium difficulty as well - and the first three in difficult. the game is really pretty well balanced but sure has its difficulties. sure medium can make you go nuts, but easy is really achievable.
here is a few tips:
always place towers on the inside of curves and at strategic places where the enemy passes twice. rule of thumb, the more expensive the tower is, the more thoughtfully it should be placed.
keep in mind that a towerupgrade not only upgrades firepower but also range. so upgrade those strategically valuable places first
build a strong defenseline directly after the mothership, cos every s'rath killed early won't trouble you later down the road. also with increasing waves you otherwise will have 2 or even 3 waves on the planet at the same time
upgrade early instead of mass producing cheap towers (some enemies later on just seem to be immune on basic, not upgraded towers.
upgrade down the path, use strongest guns closest to the mothership
use the slow-down (green spit) tower sparely and place lots of towers after it so that a maximum of gun-towers benefits from the slowdowned enemies
keep balance, dont bet all your money on just one sort of towers.
