Hi Stuart,
Firstly, thanks for contacting us on Get Sat,
It isn't our main support mechanism, as most device issues require log files and interaction with an engineer or support staff, using our CRMDesk ticketing system
Actually there are relatively small numbers here, based on 17 million sales,
That said, we work tirelessly to solve every conflict found,
First thing to do is fully charge your device, and then soft reset your device. Best method is remove battery and put back in,
Sprite Backup, simply sets off a soft reset,
Please also open a ticket on CRMDesk, and our engineers will work woith you to get you back up and running

Many thanks

Hi L,
We also have a free application that does app backup and restore,
Sprite Mechanic (includes folder browser, and process killer also)
Application settings backup, is limited currently to apps that expose this data, however, we are working hard with Google, and should have announcements in a while in relation to application settings,
Many thanks

Julz replied on December 19, 2009 06:14 to the question "Backup Manager Options---Unresponsive" in Sprite Mobile:
Hi Jim,
Yes, you are Spot on. Sprite PC Agent (part of Sprite Manager) talks to your device, if activesync/device center isn't working it can't get all the settings from your device, or remotely backup/restore.
This can sometimes be a firewall issue, stopping active sync from communicating.
Can you open a ticket here,
http://spritesoftware.crmdesk.com/
Our support crew will work with you and our enigneers to locate whats happening
Many thanks

Hi Larry,
Please can you open a ticket on CRMDesk

Can you also confirm that you have uninstalled completely, the old 6.2 before installing latest 6.5?
We did have a couple of issues with Omnia in the past, as you have confirmed we did quickly solve these,
We shouldn't have any regression issues, but please log a ticket with CRMDesk, and we will find out whats happening. Please also attach your log, so we can see where exactly the error is occuring,
Many thanks
Julian

Julz replied on December 13, 2009 21:37 to the question "Migrate from Android -> Android" in Sprite Mobile:
Hi orGSD,
Sprite Backup, will allow you to migrate from G1 to Droid.
There is a known issue with MMS, so for now, don't restore your MMS.
We should have this fixed in next few days.. The database format has changed heavily for MMS.
Sprite Backup is a paid app, you can buy this month on xmas spacial for 0.99 USD, from Google marketplace or from our site if you can't see it in your marketplace,
Many thanks
