just a thought, but have you checked to see if there are updates that your phone had BEFORE you originally added Qik? Maybe there were updates and the reformating took those updates away and you need them back to get qik to work?

i've installed qik before but i had to reformat my phone, a blackjack 2.now when trying to reinstall qik the sms link tells me that my device is not supported.

starting today i've been receiving e-mail notifications of pownce messages sent to me twice. i even recieved the pownce broadcast message twice.

The username and password should be saved to the password manager (though it isn't too important). If you do it, be advised that it has changed from Fx 2 to 3

perry, here's my non technical take:

A} addons.mozilla download. no idea why that is not working for me on firefox on my new mac? no idea. i tried a few times, no good.

B} softpedia download. i went to the website in firefox {was using safari before} - firefox downloaded the file correctly, where as safari wouldn't... it seemed to "unpack" it.

- note that me and a bunch of people had the same problem with safari downloading the pownce desktop app 2.0 and "unpacking" it... there is documentation on that here on getsfn.

good news :) thats kinda unusual... before that it was still displaying the hash file error. Any idea how it got resolved ?

I FINALLY GOT IT WORKING!!!!!!!!!
firefox downloaded the xpi file correctly and i finally was able to install it!
