Not sure if I agree that it should be possible to re-open a closed story. In which case I think you're right that a popup warning is quite necessary, since a stray click or someone testing things out as you were could get into trouble. We can add the popup and see what others think about this idea regarding re-opening the stories.-

Justin Blake replied on May 04, 2009 03:35 to the idea "Permit chaotic sprints" in Atlantic Dominion Solutions:
I believe, since this is something you normally shouldn't do (not saying you aren't forced to in some situations, as you've stated) that it should be possible, but not officially "supported" in scrum'd. As you said, you can still accomplish this by unlocking the sprint, adding things, then starting it again. I think adding a "chaotic" mode would dilute the process that scrum'd is built for, and add complexity and confusion for people. i.e. we'd need to describe what "chaotic mode" is, why it might be needed, why it normally shouldn't be done that way, etc...

This is sort of a duplicate of the idea I posted here: http://getsatisfaction.com/atlanticdo...
But this one is better so I will remove mine and vote for this one.

Justin Blake reported a problem in Atlantic Dominion Solutions on April 28, 2009 15:45:
Problems displaying "edit sprint" validation errors. When there are validation errors when editing a sprint, an ajax response is being rendered inline instead of showing the form again.
To duplicate: On the project planning page, create a sprint. Click the edit button next to the sprint. Delete the sprint name. Click Save.

Show due date with releasesRelease date next to a release name would be nice. Similar to how it is for sprints.
