This is fixed. You will now receive a 401 Unauthorized response if manually accessing /users as anyone but the account owner.

I can appreciate that. I agree we do need a way for any type of user to specify their own password. Just letting you know how it works currently. Another option is to contact the account holder and have them edit your password. They can do this under the "Users" tab.

Actually, Tim, no need to contact support. We've just deployed an update to the billing section. You should now see a proper error message if your payment fails to go through.

Chris, we're waiting to verify that a payment is showing up on our end. Then we can manually activate your account.

Sorry for the delay on this. We've just deployed the latest update with improvements to the error handling on the billing form. Can you please try updating your billing information again and let us know if you see a proper failure message this time?

Make trial period info more clear

Add a message to the signup page right on the billing info form that your card will not be charged until the 30 day trial period has expired and that you can cancel any time before that.

It looks like you may have run into a special case where your credit card and address are valid, but it still fails to get saved in the payment gateway. I've just deployed an update that will show you an error message if this happens. Please try updating your billing information again and let me know if you see a new error message and what it is. Rob, Alastair's right. I'd even consider this a bug since we allow for different countries, but then they are forced to choose a US state.
