Justin Gibbs reported a problem in Timbuk2 on August 03, 2009 15:12:
Laptop padding never stays under my MacBookThe laptop padding for the H.A.L. backpack never actually stays under my laptop - just moves to one side or the other. Since it is no longer protecting my laptop it's just an extra thing in my bag. Wondering if you can remove it or maybe make it useful?-

Interactive storyReal time story, Ren'ai, interactive story, whatever you call it the boxee platform seems perfectly suited for it. boxee catches people when they're looking for entertainment, a little interactivity will differentiate it.
Justin Gibbs replied on March 16, 2009 16:10 to the question "Adding A Image URL To The Snap Shot Tab?" in Vivaty:
You're the first to express a desire to upload a snapshot image. Anyhow, this isn't functionality that we currently support. A work around would be to upload your image as a poster inside of Vivaty, then use the camera controls in to take the snapshot of just the poster. You can always remove the photo after you've capture the perfect shot.

Justin Gibbs replied on February 24, 2009 21:14 to the problem "All Vivaty sites are offline" in Vivaty:
It was a momentary DNS issue. The Media Machines URLs should be working, all except william.mediamachines.com which is no longer live. Remember, to access the Media Machines gallery go to:
www.mediamachines.com/gallery
Justin Gibbs replied on February 24, 2009 00:02 to the question "where can i find some quality textures, pictures, and music URL's to use in my scene?" in Vivaty:
You add photos and textures through an object's Properties sheet. Just right click on an object in your scene or click the Create button and select an item. For more help, go here.
As for where to find textures, there are many resources on the Internet. We've started a discussion on just this topic on our Support Forum.

Unfortunately Vivaty requires Direct3D. For more on Vivaty's system requirements, click here.
Justin Gibbs replied on February 19, 2009 16:14 to the question "video player" in Vivaty:
First make sure that your system meets our recommended requirements. Also check to see if your video card driver is up to date.
If all that checks out and you're still experiencing the problem, please let me know.

Justin Gibbs replied on February 13, 2009 21:48 to the idea "Freeform Pencil and other Annotation Support" in Balsamiq:
Seeing how well Balsamiq works got me thinking of other ways to apply the tool. It mostly revolves around the addition of a freehand pencil tool. Of course this could open up a can of worms, but you could also get away with just tweaking the current Arrow (or horizontal/vertical rule) and forgo the freehand aspect.
But if you wanted to go further and create a simple freehand pencil:
- Draws a basic line - click and drag
- Each line is then an object which you can group together to make objects
- Ability to rotate, adjust thickness, and change color
With the freehand pencil tool we could begin to use Balsamiq to create quick sketches like in the book The Back of the Napkin. Maybe add a few stock stick men that you can adjust in minor ways.GoAnimate gives you a few emotes with their stock characters - smile, happy, etc. If you skim the Napkin book you'll see a few basic objects that you could also build intoBalsamiq. Many of these wouldn't be that far from the current markup objects. But I also understand that catering to this might take Balsamiq away from its singular focus on being a web layout tool. It's just an idea.
