Are you using the latest Vivaty player, available at:
http://vivaty.com/downloads/player/
It might also help to test a sample file from:

When you say "white" do you mean the browser window or in the Vivaty player window? First make sure that your system meets our requirements. Beyond that you may want to restart your browser.
If that doesn't help try clearing your browser cache.
Firefox
1. From the Tools menu, click "Clear Private Data"
2. Make sure to select Cache, Cookies, and Authenticated Sessions
3. Click the "Clear Private Data Now" button
Internet Explorer
1. Click the Tools menu and select "Delete Browsing History..."
2. Click the "Delete all..." button
After clearing your cache you may need to reload Vivaty and login again.

We have the new Vivaty running on a few XP machines here at the office and at home. Can you explain more the problem you're experiencing?
You might also want to clear your browser cache and reload the browser. I understand that you tried it on two different machines but it never hurts to clear things out from the browser end.

Justin Gibbs replied on February 02, 2009 16:49 to the question "How do I stack Vivaty items in My Scene?" in Vivaty:
The technical term for stacking items is parenting and Ken's instructions sum it up pretty well. Vivaty only has basic parenting functionality at the moment and it's done at the time an object is placed in the scene. Setting an object on a table will parent it to the table. Move the table and you move both objects.
As for the other stability problems you've been experiencing, it might help to clear out your browser's cache. Make sure to also clear your cookies when you do this.

The post had two comments prior to them disappearing Tuesday. But as you can see, comments made after Tuesday display fine. I haven't done anything on the back end, so it seems odd.
Justin Gibbs asked a question in IntenseDebate on January 14, 2009 15:50:
How do I have my two day old comments to display again?Old comments no longer display on my blog posts. I'm using WordPress and the IntenseDebate plugin. Monday the comments displayed fine, yesterday they disappeared. I can see the comments in admin panel but they don't display. Comments made today display fine.
Justin Gibbs replied on January 13, 2009 00:47 to the problem "Why won't "Add Item" add items to the wall?" in Vivaty:
Sounds like you're experiencing a temporary browser issue. If you clear your browser's cache and restart everything should work properly again.
Firefox 2 users
1. From the Tools menu, click "Clear Private Data"
2. Make sure to select Cache, Cookies, and Authenticated Sessions
3. Click the "Clear Private Data Now" button
Internet Explorer 2 users
1. Click the Tools menu and select "Delete Browsing History..."
2. Click the "Delete all..." button
After clearing your cache you may need to reload Vivaty and login again. If you're still having trouble you can always try restarting your browser.

Seems to work for us. Might be the file you're testing. Try using example objects from the "X3D: Extensible 3D Graphics for Web Authors" site.

We haven't been able to reproduce the problem you're seeing. Is it possible for you to take a screenshot? We recently released docked chat, which puts scene chat into the player window but private chat and chat history continue to use the old style of pop-up window. Are you seeing the problem in the docked portion or the pop-up? Or maybe the pop-up has been obscured behind other windows.
